Description
Vishuddha, (throat chakra) is the fifth primary chakra within Hinduism and Buddhism traditions. In Sanskrit (the classical language of India), Vishuddha translates into “especially pure”, Vishuddha represents purity, and is associated with, truth, purpose, and individuality. Vishuddha is associated with the element “ether”, since the ether element represents communication, authenticity, and purification. The sixteen petals of Vishuddha represent the sixteen vowels of Sanskrit. Sanskrit vowels are light and easy to pronounce, signifying the quality of communication. The inverted triangle of Vishuddha represents the channel to our consciousness and soul, being the direct expression of our higher self. The circle of Vishuddha represents the full moon, symbolising a purified mind.
This ring also includes within its design a curved inside surface for a comfortable fit.
