Description
Manipura, (The solar plexus chakra) is the third primary chakra within Hinduism and Buddhism traditions. In Sanskrit (the classical language of India), Manipura is a combination of two words that translate into “city of jewels”, (Mani - “Jewel” and Pura - “city or place”). Manipura represents the seat of our personal power, being a fiery wheel of confidence radiating outwards from the Navel region. Manipura is associated with the sun and the element of fire, since the fire element represents energy, power, and determination. The ten petals of Manipura represent the ten pranas (energy currents and vibrations) that exist within each of us. The inverted triangle of Manipura symbolises the energy from the lower three chakras, concentrated upwards towards the higher chakras.
This ring also includes within its design a curved inside surface for a comfortable fit.
