This ring represents a Boeotian soldier through the many features it holds within its design. To begin the shield in this design is a "Boeotian Shield", which was the shield wielded by ancient Boeotian soldiers. Included also in this design is a spear, which was the main wielded weapon used by the Boeotians. Added in along the outside of the ring is a form of Meander art which was a common form of pattern art shared by the ancient Greeks and the Romans.
This ring also includes within its design a curved inside surface for a comfortable fit.
