Description
The Ankh is an ancient Egyptian hieroglyph that served as an important symbol within ancient Egypt. The Ankh symbolises "Life" or "Breath of Life", which is also used to represent (Eternal life / Life After Death). The Ankh also resembles a key, and is often referred / known as the "Key Of Life", or the "Key Of The Nile". Pharaohs or Egyptian Gods are often portrayed carrying this symbol or offering this symbol.
This ring has along the outside of its surface, a pattern of lotus flowers. Lotus flowers in Egypt symbolise "Creation" and "Rebirth", Since Lotus flowers close and go beneath the water at night, and climb above the water and open at dawn.
