Buddhism follows the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha), where divine law (Dharma), concept of action, reaction (Karma), and impermanence shape existence. Buddhism is the belief that life is an eternal cycle of suffering and reincarnation. This endless cycle is escaped through achieving a state of enlightenment (nirvana), which is the state of no suffering, desire, nor sense of self.
